Health and Safety:

With the introduction of the Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations by the H.S.E. dealing specifically with construction health and safety issues, we have appointed a qualified third party adviser and auditor to ensure all our staff are fully conversant and kept up to date. Our pragmatic approach to occupational health and safety risk management has enabled us to develop sensible, cost effective solutions for our clients whilst maintaining the highest standards of service delivery and statutory compliance.

We are currently in the process of acquiring CHAS accreditation.

Low Carbon Design:

The M & E services design is an integral part of a low carbon solution. At early concept stage we can help identify opportunities to reduce carbon and running costs during occupation. We have proven experience and expertise working with clients, developers and design teams to provide practical and economic low carbon compliant design solutions.

We employ a CIBSE/Carbon Trust registered Low Carbon Consultant and we offer professional advice on the incorporation of energy efficient designs.

EDP, being an integral member of the design team for the West Centre, Drumchapel, Glasgow, were awarded a Civic Trust Award for Inclusive Design.
