Company History:

EDP Consulting Engineers was set up in September 1991 as a partnership by Ken Courtney (I.Eng., ACIBSE, MILP), Steve Barnes (I.Eng., MIET, MILP) and Campbell Kelly (ACIBSE). The original management group has been further strengthened with a team of qualified and talented individuals who, together, have a wide range of analytical, technical and professional design experience. In October 2008 the practice became a private limited company.

Together Ken Courtney, Steve Barnes and Campbell Kelly offer more than 90 years engineering experience upon which to draw in completing project work.

We consider that the most essential elements for a successful project are close co-ordination, planning and communication with the client and all relevant personnel on the design team. EDP Consulting Engineers assign at least two directors to every project to work closely with the client and other design team disciplines ensuring an effective and comfortable working relationship during the course of the project. Our clear objective is to deliver the completed project on time and within budget to the client's expectation and satisfaction. Being an enthusiastic company, we carry out these disciplines in an energetic and efficient manner which sees the completion of all projects on time and within budget.

Customer Service:

Every member of our team is dedicated to ensuring that the service levels clients receive from us not only meet but exceed expectation with the requirement of their individual businesses. Our end of project process requires EDP to conduct a post-project customer assessment of our company performance. We welcome constructive criticism and appreciate customer comments and suggestions to help us improve our service.
